Lib Dem Airfield Survey Takes Off!

The Lib Dem team surveying residents about the Airfield

Local Liberal Democrats have begun surveying residents on their draft Farnborough Airfield policy which seeks to limit the impact on residents but also recognises the contribution the Airfield makes to the local economy and the prestige of Farnborough. The response from residents has been very positive so far.

The Airfield operator will be producing a new draft 'Masterplan' this Autumn which will shape the years ahead so Rushmoor, Hart and Surrey Heath Liberal Democrats decided to join together to present their own plan.

The Liberal Democrats support the continued provision of "high-end" business flying at Farnborough Airfield, but are opposed to any further development or an increase in flights that would adversely affect public safety or quality of life.
