The Aldershot Lib Dem team

Aldershot Lib Dems have launched a campaign to improve people's quality of life by making Rushmoor a safer, greener more vibrant place to live.

Aldershot has suffered years of neglect and decline under the Conservatives. We need to restore pride in our town by injecting common sense into Council decisions, not crazy road systems, lost services and failure to deal with anti-social behaviour and crime.

Liberal Democrats are fighting to save Post Offices from closure and protect our local services.

The Lib Dems' top priorities include:

*Work with the police to fight anti-social behaviour, drugs and crime.

*Press for more logical road systems and better street cleaning.

*Work with Housing Associations to improve run-down estates.

*Introduce cost-effective ways of improving public transport.

*Increase recycling and reduce our contribution to climate change.

*Foster vibrant local communities with a strong sense of civic pride.

*Restore the reputation of our town by promoting our heritage.
