How can we recycle with bins this size?

Mitch Manning and Wingate Court's recycling bins We've all been told how important it is to recycle these days to keep our waste out of ever-expanding landfill sites.

But Mitch Manning asks how can residents of flats like Wingate Court be expected to recycle when their two small bins are full after one week and the recycling is collected fortnightly? The Lib Dems are pressing for larger bins.

Mitch also wants to see glass and more types of plastic collected for recycling - at the moment thins like margarine tubs have to go in general waste where as in Surrey Heath for example they are recycled.
