Evenings out must be made safe

Mitch Manning is calling for more police patrols to get bars like The Sahara closed down sooner.
Excessive drink leading to intimidation and violence continues to be a problem on our streets.
Lib Dem campaigner Mitch Manning welcomes the Council's withdrawal of the Sahara Bar's alcohol licence. It follows over a year of reported incidents and licence breaches including late opening, a fight and an alleged assault.
Mitch says, "Right now we need more patrols by the Police to spot and deter this behaviour rather than just reacting to call outs when it is too late."
"No one should be worried about coming to Aldershot for an evening out."
