Aldershot Lib Dem Councillor Paul Bowers calls for an end to the failed Tory-Labour consensus.
Aldershot's Labour Councillors have failed to hold the Tory-run Council to account over Westgate, according to newly-elected Lib Dem Councillor Paul Bowers.
The developer of the residential part of the project has said it may pull out because of the declining property market. But Paul Bowers believes the Council is to blame, "There was no credit crunch five years ago, why did the development not start then?"
"People in Aldershot are frustrated and it's not hard to see why. The Council must do more to push this development forward."
