Cllr David Murr said: "We will fight this Looney Parking Meter Plan"

The latest loony idea to come from Conservative-run Hart Council is parking meters for Yateley. Including one outside the Headquarters of the Monster Raving Loony Party!

Not satisfied with making bin collection a lottery and leaving grass uncut for weeks on end last summer, they now want parking meters!

Lib Dem Cllr David Murr said: "This is just a blatant attempt at raising extra revenue. Parking meters would be totally out of place in Yateley. We will fight them."
