Working for you across Aldershot, Blackwater, Farnborough, Cove, Darby Green, Frogmore and Hawley.

Welcome to Adrian Collett's website

Adrian Collett

Welcome to my website. I am the Liberal Democrat Parliamentary candidate for Aldershot, Blackwater and Farnborough.

I was born in Aldershot, went to school in Farnborough and now live at Darby Green in Blackwater. I have family in all three places, so I care deeply about this area. For 30 years I have campaigned as a councillor in Blackwater and Yateley and shown I can succeed on difficult issues.

I want to bring that active, campaigning approach to Aldershot and Farnborough too.

We need a fairer tax system which puts money back in you and your family's pockets. We need to make all schools as good as the best. We need to create jobs by investing in a greener future. And we need to safeguard our NHS.

Over the last four elections the Conservative lead over the Lib Dems has fallen from 19,188 down to just 5,334. Thousands are changing to the Lib Dems. This time, with your support, we can win.

Please feel free to look around my website. Remember, I am here to help you - so if there is anything I can do, please get in touch.

Many thanks,

Adrian's Pledge

I have been shocked by the behaviour of many MPs over expenses. There is no excuse! If you elect me I will not buy a second home or employ members of my family at your expense. I will work for you full time, only claiming costs genuinely incurred in your service.

4 steps to a fairer Britain

At the root of Britain's problems today is the failure to distribute power fairly between people. Political power has been hoarded by politicians and civil servants; economic power has been hoarded by big businesses. Both kinds of power have been stripped from ordinary citizens, leaving us with a fragile society marked by inequality, environmental degradation and boom-bust economics. If government merely tinkers at the edges - the Labour and Conservative approach - Britain's problems will not be solved. We can change this only with radical action.

The Liberal Democrat philosophy is built on a simple ambition: to distribute power fairly among people. From that goal of fairness spring the four priorities which form the backbone of our election manifesto. Each will redistribute power of a different kind, be it economic, social, political or financial. Each will change Britain for the better.
